Matias trained with Marco for two years before joining the San Diego FC Academy.
In his own words.
coach, i didn’t know from the start of this training i would make it this far. I thought i would get stronger physically and that’s it. But reflecting back the physical part wasn’t all. Waking up at 5:30, pushing through the “i’m so tired”. That’s where i grew the most. These trainings really pushed me through to be my best self, not only as an athlete but as a person aswell. I’ve gathered many important messages from you that will always stay with me. I am very fortunate to have an elite coach where i got to learn many great things from. You were a great impact to be where i am now. Thank you coach for everything.
